CONFLUENCE - Hearts, Hands and Minds for takayna
An exhibition to raise funds for the Bob Brown Foundation’s efforts in protecting the Tarkine Wilderness.
Welcome to 3 days of art, music and workshops at Earthside Exchange.
Artists Bianca Yrure, Mahalia White-McColl, Kajeera Jenkins and Kate Shaw have collaborated to bring you an exhibition of ceramics, photography, painting and more. Taking inspiration from takayna (the Tarkine, Tasmania), they have not only curated an exhibition but a program of local music, workshops, poetry and a raffle prize valued at $1,400 to raise awareness about the awe and wonder of this special place.
Threatened and vulnerable, takayna needs protecting. Funds raised from our event will be donated to the Bob Brown Foundation, taking action for earth.

We acknowledge the palawa as the original and continuing Custodians of this Country lutruwita, and acknowledge that we hold our exhibition on stolen land. We pay our respects to Elders past and present. Takayna was never ceded, and is and always will be Aboriginal land.
